Bursztyn Unity in Szczecin – Ferry Christening Ceremony and Open Days for Residents

From 9 to 15 November, Bursztyn Unity will be moored at Wały Chrobrego in Szczecin. The highlight of the programme will be the ferry's christening ceremony, scheduled for 11 November at 11:00. In the following days, the ferry will be open to residents and tourists for guided tours.

Bursztyn Unity is expected to arrive in Szczecin around midday on 9 November. Due to preparations for the event, changes to traffic arrangements in the Wały Chrobrego area will be introduced from that day. From 10 November, the waterfront area will be completely closed to the public. Detailed information about traffic restrictions and road closures will be provided in a separate announcement and on the ZDiTM website.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the ferry over three days. On 12 November, the vessel will be open from 13:00 to 18:00, and on 13 November from 10:00 to 18:00. Advance online registration will be required on both days. On 14 November, from 10:00 to 16:00, an open day will take place, allowing visitors to tour the ferry without prior registration. Visitors will be welcomed on board in organised groups accompanied by guides.

We want as many people as possible to have the opportunity to see Bursztyn Unity up close and discover our new vessel. That is why we are opening the ferry to visitors for three days, giving residents and tourists more time to explore and enjoy their visit on board. We have also carefully planned the visiting arrangements to ensure that groups can board smoothly and efficiently. Our aim is to make this a memorable experience for everyone.

Bursztyn Unity is scheduled to depart Szczecin for Świnoujście on the afternoon of 15 November.
